This wonderful family run hotel is small and stylish with a lovely homely feel and welcome by Christos and Voula. Quietly located at the top of the village, just a five-minute walk from the village square below where the children play in the central square and the villagers sit and drink their coffee and watch the world pass by.....
This unique traditional Guesthouse on the actual foothills of Meteora which has been here since 1845 has recently been restored to it's former glory. having previously been occupied by a tailor, a butcher, a barber and was even the grocer for the village until the early 1970's Christos and Voula wanting to keep the style and atmosphere as close to the original even managed to find the materials of stone and wood that were used 160 years ago and gained great personal satisfaction to restore this piece of history.
The five bedrooms are all warm and keep with the traditional style, with each room offering something different. They have one room specially adapted for disabled persons with a special ensuite bath, another that resembles the bridal chamber as the bed has beautiful white canapes surrounding it and a Jacuzzi bath. Another room comprises of a beautiful large king size bed and has its open private entrance directly from outside the house. As you enter the guesthouse, you can feel the atmosphere of long ago. On your left are the stairs leading down to the cellar where you can sit, relax chat and eat your breakfast with a fire in the winter months and a beautiful garden during the summer months where you can feel totally free because you are surrounded by the rocks of Meteora and her monisteries.
