Meli is a spacious traditional mansion, full of character and charm, stylishly decorated with antique pieces, offering truly relaxed holidays. Officially recognized as a preserved building, it carries with it a history which dates back to the 19th century. More than that, Meli is steeped in sentiment, having been a home for the same family for over five generations. The owners recently restored and decorated the house, ensuring that the highest standards and quality were maintained, while respecting and honoring the traditional architecture and natural surroundings. Exposed beams, high ceilings, wooden floors, antiques, and unique wrought-iron beds give the mansion the character and feel of a genuinely refined and elegant country house.

The villa is 250 sq.m. split into two storeys. The attention to detail is evident in all the superbly-decorated interiors which combine rustic authenticity with all-modern amenities. It features 3 independent bedrooms (two with queen-size double beds and one with two single beds), all with en suite bathrooms (one with jacuzzi bathtub). All rooms are located on the upper floor and have satellite TV, designer matresses, hairdryer, designer face & body treatment items, small fridge, safe box. There is air conditioning, central heating and Wi Fi internet connection throughout the mansion. A large wooden staircase leads down to an open plan living room with fireplace and two sofa beds, an additional WC, desk area, dining area, fully equipped rustic kitchen. Outdoors, there is a large barbecue, a wood burning oven and garden seating with wonderful countryside views.

The surrounding nature offers endless choices for walking through rich vegetation, forests and dirt roads. Mountain biking is an excellent alternative for those feeling more adventurous (bikes provided). Further to enjoying the world-class beaches close-by, a great selection of activities exists in the wider area and the owners would gladly help with organizing them.

How to get there
Lefkas Island can be reached by car as there is a floating bridge connection with Mainland Greece. After crossing the bridge, one finds himself in Lefkas town. From the town one can choose 3 different ways to reach Dragano village. The recommended route is the one through Tsoukalades, Agios Nikitas, Kalamitsi, Chortata and then to the right towards Porto Katsiki (40 minutes).
