Online Booking for hotel: Metohi Kindelis
Metohi Kindelis is a beautiful, 400-year-old farming estate situated on the outskirts of the historic town of Hania. It is still used for fruit production, but the old olive press and the floor above it have been converted into two gorgeous guesthouses, each with its own, private garden and swimming pool. Done with the greatest respect for the historic character of the farm, without however being too traditional, they are spacious and offer a level of comfort that equals that of the best hotels. They are furnished and decorated with finesse and good taste and almost have a designer look (though everything is the owner’s own vision).
The lower house, Danae, is essentially one large space (with a double bed in a cosy niche that can be closed off for some privacy). The look is tastefully bare: exposed stone walls, arches, beamed ceilings, an old fireplace and simple wood furniture. It is a great space, matched by the private garden that lies in front of it: a large lawn, a swimming pool and a shaded dining corner. The upper house, Kynthia, has a warm, country-style feel. If you stay here, you have your own garden just 30 metres away from the house, with a pool, a terrace and even a summer kitchen and a music installation.
The houses are basically self-catering, but your refrigerator is stocked with drinks and a bottle of wine, and should you want something fruity, you are welcome to collect strawberries from the field or pick peaches, oranges or apricots.

How to get there
Metohi Kindelis is situated off the road that goes parallel to the main road towards Kissamos. If you arrive at the port or the airport of Hania, you will be met there; otherwise you will be met in Hania and accompanied to the farm.

Metohi Kindelis is an excellent base for getting around, go swimming, hiking, walking or just enjoying the nightlife or shopping centers of Hania.
