Zakynthos is a gorgeous island with lots of greenery, mountains and spectacular beaches. Hotel Nobelos is just a few minutes’ walk from Agios Nikolaos, a small harbour in one of the prettiest parts of the island, well away from the more touristy areas.
The little stone building has only four suites. Owners Nikos and Fotini Nobelos have consciously created something very small and charming, giving it a feeling of luxury, while at the same time maintaining a homely and family atmosphere. Fotini, who did all the interior decoration, matched the rustic architecture with antique, traditional and also some quite unusual furniture. On the first floor there are two particularly cosy suites, while the two ground-floor suites have idyllic little verandas overlooking the sea. The hotel is surrounded by lovely terraces with several shady sitting corners, and just a few steps away from the terraces there is a private jetty by the sea with sun beds.
What makes your stay at Hotel Nobelos so unforgettable is the way the family and the young staff take care of you. Every morning they treat their guests to an exceptional breakfast with several types of fresh juices, French toast, eggs, smoked salmon, cheeses, prosciutto, yoghurts, cereals, and fruit salad. Guests are often invited to join the Nobelos family for meals, while Nikos, who once worked as a chef on a luxury cruise ship, has also recently opened a restaurant next to the hotel.

How to get there
Follow signs for Volimes from the capital of Zakynthos. Five km after the village of Katastari, turn in the direction of Agios Nikolaos. The hotel is on your right 500 m before the harbour.
