Spetses is a pinewood-covered little island just off the coast of the Peloponnese. A mere two hours by hydrofoil from Piraeus, it attracts people who appreciate the laid-back and refined atmosphere that reigns the little ‘town’ of Spetses, renowned for its elegant 18th and 19th century mansions, idyllic gardens and pebble-mosaic courtyards. The use of cars is restricted on the island, and what most people do here is rent bicycles or mopeds to go around and explore the beaches.

Quietly situated near the old port of Spetses, the Orloff resort is a small hotel set in the gardens of the mid-19th century Orloff mansion. It consists of five houses, each with its own architectural features in the traditional local building style, distinguished by simple elegance and pure lines. They blend in harmoniously with their surroundings. Inside, they are done in a refreshing, contemporary style, and they offer great comfort. Every detail is deliberate and thought through, from the materials (all of the highest quality) and the colour schemes (white has the overtone, with the occasional splash of vibrant colours), to the furniture (modern and comfortable) and the decoration (minimal, but just right). They have some delightful suites which can accommodate families and its an ideal location for young children and teenagers alike. Spetses is a very safe island and your teenagers can go off and enjoy their freedom without you having to worry as everything is so close by.

The walled gardens are beautiful with the vines hanging down and the scent of the flowers. Here too, tradition blends with modernity: terraces made of smoothed concrete and pebble mosaics, a pool that is large but not too flashy in its appearance with a hydro massage, modern design garden furniture, greenery and potted flowers and olive trees.

They also offer you a selection of massage and facial treatments (booked upon request) with Joanna who will take away all your stress and relax you body and soul with her aromatic oils, calming music and amazing hands! Not to be missed!

I have been meaning to email to thank you for the perfect holiday you helped plan for my friend and I. We had a brilliant time at the Orloff Resort in Spetses. The proprieter Christos was utterly charming and the team there (especially Nikos) were so warm and accommodating yet still very discreet and gentle in their approach.Orloff was afor my friend and I to spend a week relaxing as it had all the modern conveniences we like whilst being on a truly Greek Island. Orloff is so tasteful in every detail to the room furnishings, bathroom amenities, bed linens to even heavenly chocolate cake for breakfast!
