Rafting

Greece hides numerous densely vegetated rivers offering amazing rafting opportunities. No experience is needed to go rafting (unless you go for a high difficulty level); the only requirements are swimming knowledge, a basic physical condition and a bit of yearning for fun and adventure. The instructions you get in the raft are always simple: all you need to understand is the difference between left and right!
There are 6 (internationally accepted) levels of difficulty, ranging from ‘easy’ (I) to ‘foolish to attempt’ (VI). Most are suitable for beginners (Grades I and II), but they also offer a descent for the more experienced among you (Grades III and IV). Children over 14 years old are welcome to participate whilst during summer time children over 8 years old, can participate in the easy descents.
